Our Impact

Since HAVI’s inception in 2012 we have been able to serve local and international disability communities. We are committed to providing educational programs, scholarship programs, and workshops for parents and caregivers of children with intellectual disabilities in Montreal, Canada and Ghana, West Africa.

Villagers with access to water

HAVI completed their water project in May 2014. Before the well was dug, locals had to walk between 2-4 km to fetch water. Now that we have successfully delivered the water project, children who would otherwise be fetching water, can now spend their time in a classroom learning.

Years serving The neurodivergent community in Montreal

Our HAVI Friends program offers workshops for parents/caregivers of children with disabilities. While parents attend the workshop sessions, their children are right next door engaging in one-on-one activities with a specially trained HAVI volunteer.
